I'm a klutz!

First off, I'm not even sure if that's how you spell that word! Secondly, I should own one of the above, but make it real. For those who know me pretty well, you should know that I'm always bruised somewhere and often have no idea what happened. Well, it seems that this has not gotten any better with age. Yesterday during Sacrament Meeting I had to play the Intermediate and Closing hynms. I was in the middle of a very full bench (a recipe for problems if you ask me) and as I was trying to get over legs to get out I wacked my knee on the arm rest at the end of the bench. Needless to say, it was pretty blue by the end of last night and is a bright shade of purple today. Then last night I had to scoop rock-hard icecream to about 150 hungry males after Stake Priesthood meeting (not a klutzy thing, but my wrist is now sore). And now for the clincher of it all: just about 15 minutes ago I was putting up pictures in my office. I was leaning down to open up a step ladder so I could reach a little higher on the wall. In the process, I was looking right and did not notice that the thermostat on the wall was to my left and wacked the upper portion of my forehead right on the corner of the thermostat box. My boss walked by right as I did it too and I have a mini goose-egg to show for it. Man, I love my life!

Names!

So, I'm a counselor for our stake's girls camp this year and I need to come up with a few group names to throw out to my girls for our kick off tomorrow night. The theme is "Gentle Giants..." so the name has to revolve around the word giant, either including it in the title or the name must be something giant, like Mt. Everest, or Redwood Trees, etc. Anyone got any ideas? The only thing I've got so far is Thunderbird...cuz they're giant birds :)

Disneyland & Wicked!

So this is a few days late in coming, but we got back late Sunday night and had a blast! Wicked was amazing, I broke (temporarily) the faucet in the hotel bathroom, and I screamed my head off on Tower of Terror. Pictures to come soon!

Happy Birthday Justin!!

First, I'm so sorry the picture is tiny...I can't fix that until I get home. Second, Happy 21st Birthday to my brother Justin! Last year this time he was in Iraq, but this year he is home until July. The family (all those still in VA) celebrated his birthday Saturday when he was up from North Carolina for Easter. I'm sad I couldn't be there, but he knows I love him! He's one of the best brothers I could ask for. I love how he always tries (and succeeds) to put me in a headlock when I'm at home and say something annoying to him :) He is constantly making fun of my height too. I guess that's what little (in age, he's like 9 inches taller than me) brothers are for! Miss you bro. Happy Birthday!

The First Step to Recovery...

is admitting you have a problem right? Well, I discovered this morning that I have a problem....involving craft stores such as the popular chain "Michaels". I spent 45 minutes (work time I might add) looking for 6 black 8x10 picture frames for my boss. I constantly found myself getting distracted by the posters, other frames, cake decorating supplies, scrapbooking supplies, etc. All the while thinking, "Ooh, that's cute" or "Ooh, that would be fun!" I could have wasted hours in that store, as well as dropped my entire paycheck! I think I now know what I will do when I'm done with school...become crafty :)
