Hello World

Hi everyone. It's been a while! Darren and I are now in Arizona, and are all settled in. He has been student teaching for two weeks now, and will completely take over the five Spanish 1 classes he is observing by the end of the month. Our ward is nice, but pretty much old people or young married couples. Our apartment is great for what we need. It's got it's quirks, but we're working with them. It's starting to feel more and more like a home. Our first week here was hard, but it's getting better each day.

I'm still job searching, and hoping that one day something will turn up. I'm trying to keep busy with things around the house in the mean time. I used my sewing machine for the first time yesterday, and hope to use it more and more to make some throw pillows and maybe some curtains for our little place.

In other news, we've decided to move this blog to darrennatalie.blogspot.com. It's still in the works, but it will soon have posts going. I hope to have wedding photos soon as well, and will get those posted when they become available.

Hope all of your Christmases and New Years were great. Ours were, and we will write about those later!
